Biography
Gianluca was born in Pescia on March 8th 2000. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florence in 2022 with a thesis entitled “Analysis of a micro-CAES system: model alignment and efficiency solutions”. He then received his master degree in Energy Engineering in February 2025 at the same university with thesis “CFD analysis of a multi-megawatt, highly-flexible wind turbine blade”. From April 2025, he worked at the department of Industrial Engineering as a postgraduate researcher. He is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program in Industrial Engineering at the University of Florence, focusing on multi-scale numerical simulations of wind turbines.
