Biography
Marco Ciampolini was born in Vinci, Florence, on April 29, 1989. He received the bachelor degree with honor in Management Engineering at the University of Florence on May 2013. Then he gained interest in fluid mechanics, reaching the master degree with honor in Energy Engineering at the University of Florence on October 2018, with the thesis "Design and CFD analysis of a prechamber for use in direct-injection two-stroke engines".
During studies, he has worked in the ICT (Information & Communication Technologies) business for several years.
He completed in 2022 his PhD reasearch in "Smart Industry" which was born from the cooperation between Regione Toscana and the Universities of Florence, Pisa and Siena.
In his spare time he plays tennis competitively. He is also interested in electrical systems and home automation.
